French literature 3
The aim of the course taught in French is, based on the readings and analysis of the texts, to give a systematic overview of the most important trends and personalities of the French literature from the beginning of the twentieth century up to present. When completing this lecture cycle, a student should have basic knowledge of current French literature, should know its development and special national features, and be able to incorporate it into a broader European or world context. Follow-up seminars will lead students to a deeper analysis of specific texts and extracts of the most important works of the period. |
