Information on tests
The course is completed with a three-part final test. The first part contains four broader questions requiring more detailed answers (3-5 paragraphs). The evaluated aspects include factual accuracy and understanding broader context.The second parts involves answering several key terms related to the subject matter. The final part consists of cca 10 questions requiring just brief answers (name of person, title of work, year of event, etc.). The minimum success rate is 75%.

2. The structure of contemporary British society.
3. Current political and social situation in Britain.
4. British youth culture.
5. Problems of the education system in Britain.
6. Origins of the USA.
7. Slavery and the American Civil War.
8. Civil Rights Movement and the 1960s in the USA.
8. The character of US democracy.
