The aim of this course is to promote the professionalism of future teachers by gaining a perspective on learning and teaching from the perspectives of different disciplines of educational sciences. Students will gain an overview of different approaches and conceptions of teaching and learning and discuss the implications of these approaches to the concrete practice of teaching and learning for secondary school students. The course will motivate students to pursue lifelong learning and possibly further study by opening up a range of questions and doors into the various fields of educational sciences.
