Course objectives:

The course is designed for students with language competence at the level of subject UJP/AC8B or at B2 level under the Common European Framework Reference.
The course should develop students' knowledge of banking and international finance in order to facilitate their orientation in the English-speaking environment within financial institutions.
The course is specifically designed and suitable for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the banking and finance industry as well as in the investment management sector. An extensive spectrum of financial topics is presented to develop students' key communication skills required in job-specific situations.

Requirements on student
|
- presentation on a given topic
- completing tasks assigned in Google Classroom/Moodle
- attending a miminum of 70% lessons in the case of face-to-face classes
- taking an active part in seminars.
The evaluation system is described in detail on Courseware and will be discussed in class in Week 1.
Requirements to obtain a credit must be completed by the end of classes of the given semester.
If a student cannot meet the requirements by the set deadline, they must always inform the teacher by the 3rd week of semester.
