The aim of the course is to interpret the relationship between myth, philosophy and science. Get to know the sources of ancient theoretical thinking and ancient science. Introducing students to the development of cosmological concepts in ancient times. Origin of geometry. Hippocratic medicine. Plato, Aristotle and the concept of science. Philosophy of nature in Aristotle's work. To acquaint students with the medieval conception of nature and man and with the reassessment of the assumptions of ancient science in the Middle Ages.
