Spatial analysis using GIS is one of the key methods not only for quantitative but also qualitative research in geography and other related fields, to understand the spatial context. I hope that this course will help advanced students refresh and improve their GIS skills, while also helping "newcomers" become familiar with GIS and learn how to use it in their research, theses etc.
