| The course informs the students about the history of Anglophone countries. The lectures will deal with the most important events of the history of the United States and Great Britain in the 19th and 20th century. The course will be concentrated on the political, economic and social development of both states and will also shortly introduce the students to the history of other English-speaking countries (most notably Canada, Australia and New Zeeland). |
