| The purpose of this course is to briefly acquaint students with the basics of differential and integral calculus of one or more variables. Emphasis will be placed on economic interpretations and applications, and on using these skills in solving basic economic problems. |

Course credit conditions
A student must gain at least 50% of points (in total) from credit tests.
Exam Evaluation
The exam has a written and an oral part. To pass the written part of the exam, a student has to obtain at least 50% of points. The following oral part of the exam is focused on basic knowledge. To pass the exam, a student has to pass both parts of the exam.
Upon repeated registration of the course, the credit obtained in the previous study of this course is not recognised (see art. 25, par. 3 in Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia). |
