Course objectives:

The aim of this course is to differentiate and characterize the main cultural and artistic styles in the European development in the background of development of human society from prehistory to the 20th century. Students will be aware of analyzing the artistic styles of historical epochs or a selected region. The partial aim is to introduce the possibility of linking the problems of this course and school practice the basics of didactics of history.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation in seminars is essential. Students must prepare a given topic and do its convincing presentation in PowerPoint. Students are obliged to pass successfully the final credit test (gain at least 80%).
