Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to make students familiar with basis of anatomy and morphology, especially of vascular plants.

Requirements on student
|
Active participation during the laboratory courses and protocol submission. A written exam check up the student´s knowledge.

2. Plant cell - part 1, cell structure
3. Plant cell - part 2, cell proceses
4. Histology
5. Introduction into the Plant Morphology. Root.
6. Stem
7. Bud. Leaf - part 1
8. Leaf - part 2
9. Flower morphology
10. Inflorescence. Pollination, germination. Embryogenesis.
11. Seed, fruit
12. Anatomy and morphology of mosses, ferns and gymnosperms. Ontological cycles.
13. Vegetative reproduction. Plant life forms. Biomes, biogeographical regions - introduction. Plant symbiosis.
Laboratory courses:
1. Introduction (botanica literature, general description of the plant body, latin names, herbarium)
2. Mosses, Ferns and Gymnosperms(anatomical and morphological specifics)

5. Histology 2 (epidermis incl. trichomes, anatomical structure of different leaf types)
6. Vascular bundles and stele (structure and types of vasculare bundles and stele types)
