Course objectives:

The aim of this course is to apply the theoretical knowledge of the disciplines and the its transformation to the teaching of chemistry at high school. Student will teach the prescribed number of hours of chemistry at high school. During these lessons student uses the knowledge gained by studying chemistry didactics, pedagogical and psychological disciplines and specialized chemicals disciplines.

Requirements on student
|
To recieve credit students are expected to submit:
Completed form on the PP with the evaluation of teachers indicating
Preparations for every (teaching) lessons
Analysis of at least 3 hours by another practitioner student of chemistry (eg - from other schools) or by teacher of chemistry at the school where the student has a practice.

Content
|
Student will learn 10 teaching hours. Student consults preparations for each hour with the supervisor in advance before his performance. After each hour teacher makes a detailed analysis about his performence and he evaluates each part of the lesson.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
Knowledge of subjects: general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and methodology of chemistry, the teaching methodology, pedagogy and psychology. |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
select an appropriate content of the primary text for the age category

select the appropriate form and the method for the class |
select appropriate equipment and educational resources for discussed topic
