Course objectives:
|
To introduce students to the issue of the functioning of important cultural institutions in the region through visits to cultural events. Discover the diversity of the cultural life of the city of Pilsen and the Pilsen region.
|
Requirements on student
|
1. Visit 10 different genre productions of major cultural institutions in the region or in the place of residence.
2. Create written evaluation reports on each cultural event visited (taking into account promotion, printed program, organization level, organizing services, etc.) reviews in professional and daily press.
3. Present a contribution to the student scientific conference organized by the Department of Music Culture or by another music department.

Content
|
Practical acquaintance with the production of important cultural institutions in the region (J.K.Tyla Theater in Plzeň, Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, Pilsen Conservatory, Department of Musical Culture, University of West Bohemia, West Bohemian Museum, Western Bohemian Gallery, etc.). Visit of 10 concerts or theater performances (opera, ballet, musical, operetta, club concerts, exhibitions opening, ...).
