Course objectives:

The partial state examination verifies that the student has successfully completed the corresponding part of the master-level study programme, understands the relevant principles and concepts, is able to actively and correctly apply the relevant methods, models and tools, and has adequate presentation and communication skills.

Requirements on student
|
The examination assesses the student's ability to use acquired knowledge, skills and competencies, in particular the ability to explain theoretical foundations, use methods and models of the given area of computing and related disciplines, apply the knowledge and skills in the analysis and solution of concrete problems.
The topics for the examination are defined and published, in advance of the examination as appropriate, by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Content

Student explains, to the examination board, his/her answer to concrete questions corresponding to the published topics of the state examination, including potential additional questions. The examination in front of the board is directly preceded by a time for written preparation of the answer.

The student must have completed all prerequisite courses as prescribed by the study plan, and also must have fulfilled the conditions as set fort in the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia. |
