Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to prepare the students for the certification exam from project management according to IPMA methodology level IPMA D.
|
Requirements on student
|
The condition for the assignment is to:
a) conduct a seminar paper,
b) accomplish an assignment test.
The exam is oral and it consists of two parts:
- a written part includes test,
- an oral part.

Content
|
1. Development of project management (PM), basic approaches, concepts and tools of PM, PM standards
2. Project life cycle, project management processes
3. Project definition, requirements and goals, logical framework and project charter of the project, project scope plan (PBS, WBS), project and strategy
4. Project organization, responsibility matrices, stakeholders, influence / interest matrices, meeting management, project office
5. Time schedule, network graph, Gantt chart, time planning methods, critical path, PERT, critical chain.
6. Resources and costs in the project, creativity, motivation and human resource management, the role in the team
7. Communication management, quality management, change management, change in the broader context of strategy
8. Project risk management, business management, contractual relations
9. Agile approaches in PM
10. Team leadership and teamwork, behavioral skills (assertiveness, manipulative techniques, discussion and negotiation)
11. Evaluation and control of the project, project scorecard, analysis of the created value.
12. Project documentation management, project closing, multi-project management, program, portfolio, relation to strategy, projects in the international environment
