Course objectives:
|
Understand the substance and function of strategic management in context of managerial and entrepreneurial activities in contemporary organizations. Clarify principles of strategic thinking. Inform about methods, concepts and chosen aspects applied in strategic management. Equip students with knowledge and skills which are necessary for strategy formulation, strategy evaluation and selection of optimum strategy. Discuss with students procedures leading to strategic plan formation.

Requirements on student
|
Credit may be obtained on the basis of the following activities:
Credit test - 10 questions (passing the test means to meet the 65 % points, it is possible to correct the test only once.
Project - approved project, it is possible to correct the project only twice.
The exam is combined and consists of two parts:
- a written part - 10 questions, for passing 10 points maximum, 7 points minimum, to continue with an oral part is possible only if the written part has been successfully passed;
- an oral part
The exam overall assessment is the result of the oral part of the exam, taking into account the points obtained for the written part of the exam.
