Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to make students aware of basic terminology and skills from the field of ontogenetic psychology. The course focuses on particular developmental periods, variability of mental development and its determination.

Requirements on student
|
Preparation of the seminar work on the given topic, individual presentation of the main conclusions. Completion of didactic test for min. 80%, exam.

1. Basic issues of developmental psychology, developmental patterns.
2. Periodization of psychological development.
3. Development of motor functions, development of drawing expression.
4. Development of cognitive processes, development of thinking, speech development
5. Development of emotional processes, psychological deprivation
6. Evolution of character and moral characteristics.
7-8. Integration periods (physical, psychological and social characteristics).
9-10. The peak period (physical, psychological and social characteristics).
11-12. Involutionary period (physical, psychological and social characteristics).
13. Developmental disorders.
