Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to improve language skills, to fix active and passive vocabulary, thematically the course focuses on theoretical and practical mastery of vocabulary and Russian facts on topics such as food, Russian cuisine, dining; city and transport. An inherent objective is to acquire and automate grammatical and spelling phenomena in speaking and writing, enlarge the knowledge of the Russian facts and culture, the ability to analyze a text within the recommended reading list and work with authentic materials (from the Internet etc.). When studying, materials can be used from the coursware and e-learning courses. E-learning courses provide students with a complex view on transport issues in Russia (in comparative aspect), the attention is paid to the urban, rail, air and ship transport. Part of it is also series of authentic photographs and work with them, practicing vocabulary (lexical and grammatical exercises), developing awareness of Russian facts - e.g. The Moscow metro, Trans-Siberian railway, marshrutka etc. The topic of Russian cuisine and dining or the city and orientation in it are processed in a similar way.
Students reach the language level C1.

Requirements on student
|
Active work in seminars, continuous completion of assignments, keeping a card of own deficits and educational goals, online EJP portfolio and Russian-Czech dictionary (with verification of vocabulary knowledge in the credit), participation in oral dialogue on the topics discussed in the credit, presentation of a professional report, written professional article of 4 nms.

Content

Development of language skills and vocabulary (related to the knowledge gained in the course of Russian lexicology). Practising of using grammar and orthographical rules in writing and speaking. The topics of the course are food, Russian cuisine, dining, town and transportation.
