Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to practise the figure studies focused on the individual talent of a student and to teach him or her how to solve the figurative monument, according to the individual theme, in a landscape and from the suitable material for the concrete space.

Requirements on student
|
- Regular attendance at classes, - Ongoing fulfilment of all seminar studio tasks according to the teacher's instructions, - Active involvement in solving problems, demonstrating inventiveness, - Ongoing design, consultations and corrections of term project, - Submitting the final version of the semester project (KP) to the teacher by the deadline, - Presentation. Evaluation criteria: individual criteria, in the form of comparing various approaches.

Weeks 1 - 13 - Assigning the theme of semester project (KP), information about the course. - Exercising figurative studies. - Gradual orientation towards particular type of student's talent. - Monument in the landscape - concrete solutions in the specified area. - Figurative type of monument. - Deciding on individual topic of a monument. - Size and material appropriate to the nature of the environment. - Submission of the final version of KP by the deadline set by the teacher.

Successful completion of entrance aptitude tests in the master's program at art school. The course is designed exclusively for UUD students. |

Learning outcomes

Knowledge - knowledge resulting from the course: |
Students will be equipped with skills for the implementation of figurative monument without negative interference with the setting (in the appropriate material suitable for the specified setting). They will be able to properly assess and take into account the common impact of architecture, countryside and terrain - the relation of landscape and setting with the monument. |
