Course objectives:
|
The lecture will give the students the information on the flexion of various word classes of the Akkadian language. The students will be introduced into the verbal flexion (regular verbs) and will deapen their knowledge of the flexion of substantives and adjectives. The will enlarge their knowledge of the monumental version of the cuneiform script.

The students will be able to read average texts in Akkadian. They will be acquainted with the flexion of pronouns and other word classes, the will be able to form present, preterit and perfect tenses of the Akkadian regular strong verbs. |
