Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic directions, personalities and methods of Jewish mysticism: ma´ase bereshit, ma´ase merkava, critique of mystique in the treatise Chagigah, medieval Kabbalah, Hasidism and modern practice.

Requirements on student
|
seminar work, seminar paper. The condition for access to the oral exam is the fulfillment of the condition of the presentation of the seminar paper or alternatively the elaboration of a seminar work in 5 standard pages.
