Course objectives:
|
To introduce students to the issues of the school musical education and educational process. Introducing them the possibilities of practical application of previously learned knowledge from music pedagogy and music pedagogical psychology to the field of creative listening to music and other musical activities.

Requirements on student
|
Creating a subject portfolio:
Written seminar paper: Didactic analysis of two listening compositions of their own choice, two written preparations for the music education units at the lower and upper levels of the multi-year grammar school.
Oral Exam - Interview on the Drawed Topic. Exam Topics:
1. Psychological foundations of musical apercepce
2. The factors influencing musical perception
3. Music as a signage system and pedagogical means of its acquisition
4. The importance of anticipation and perceptual focus in the process of active musical perception
5. The function of anticipatory concepts, associations and motors in musical perception (focusing on school listening activities)
6. Instrumental activities at school as a means of preparing for active listening to music
7. Emotions and feelings as part of a complex musical experience
8. Didactic analysis of musical compositions for listening

Content
|
Psychological, sociological and didactic background of music reception. The impact of music reception on the development of music and the upbringing of a child and a teenage person, in the spirit of the principles of school reform. Models of creative listening to music, the use of integrative approaches (interconnection of listening activities with vocal, instrumental, musical, drama, artistic, etc.), according to the requirements and principles of the Framework Educational Program for Gymnasium Education. Preparation of music lessons preparation - creation of educational projects for lower and upper grammar schools. Diagnostic methods in musical perception and reception, possibilities of their use in teaching music education at grammar school.

Identify factors influencing musical perception and clarify their pedagogical aspects. |

Clarify the essence and meaning of emotions and emotions while listening to music. |
