Course objectives:

The course is intended for students of the doctoral program Music Theory and Pedagogy. The aim of the course is to strengthen the communication competence of the student's doctoral student in relation to his / her professional orientation and ability to work in an international context. The development focuses on the issue of professional profile with regard to various professional situations. Students train the skill of fluent speech and argumentation in monological, dialogic speech and discussion, improve presentation skills.

Knowledge - students are expected to possess the following knowledge before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
The student has knowledge of vocabulary of language level B1, is aware of the functioning of the morphological and lexical system in the comparative Russian-Czech plan. He has mastered the paradigm of nouns and adjectives, can time productive verbs. |
Skills - students are expected to possess the following skills before the course commences to finish it successfully: |
use receptive and productive skills at level B2 or higher |
The student reads the text fluently in Russian and understands its content. He can write Cyrillic without problems. He is able to understand a professionally focused text with the help of a dictionary, he works with internet resources. |
