Course objectives:
|
The aim of this subject is to help students to reflect on the importance of the social science and philosophical foundations underlying social work. With help of discussions and readings, students will understand the relations between sociology, philosophy, ethics and anthropology and the principles and operation of social work, and they will learn how to use their knowledge of these fields in social work.

Requirements on student

Students are supposed to study literature, active participation in seminars, work continuously on their tasks and to pass a written exam.
