Course objectives:

This subject is designed for preschool education program students. After completing this course students should be able to look up activities in English that are suitable for preschool children, use different sources, evaluate their appropriateness and to understand vocationally oriented texts focusing on preschool education and discuss them.

Requirements on student
|
Credit requirements:
1. Mini projects
Students will independently develop and continuously submit four independent works - projects.
2. Presentation
Students will prepare a short presentation/speech (approx. 5 minutes) on one of the topics discussed during the class.
3. Attendance
Students will meet the requirement of at least 70% attendance. Absence due to study practice is allowed automatically and does not count towards the allowed absences.
Examination requirements
The examination for the APP course is oral and is conducted in pairs or individually. The student must demonstrate fluency in English at a minimum level of B2. The assessment will also include adequate use of English vocabulary and terminology covered in the seminars.
